How to Remove Blood Stains from Hard Surfaces

Follow These Steps to Remove Blood Stains from Hard, Nonporous Surfaces with Clorox® Bleach or Clorox® Scented Bleach:

  1. Prep
    Remove visible blood by pre-washing the surface with water and detergent. Then, rinse with water.
  2. Wipe
    Mop or wipe the surface with a disinfecting solution of 1 cup (250 ml) of Clorox® Bleach or Clorox® Scented Bleach in 3 L of water.
  3. Wait
    Allow the solution to contact the surface for at least 10 minutes.
  4. Rinse
    Rinse and air dry.

Follow These Steps to Remove Blood Stains from Hard, Nonporous Surfaces with Clorox® Gel Thick Bleach + Cleaner:

  1. Prep
    Remove visible blood by pre-washing the surface with water and detergent. Then, rinse with water.
  2. Wipe
    Mop or wipe the surface with a disinfecting solution of 1/2 cup (120 ml) of Clorox® Gel Thick Bleach + Cleaner in 5 L of water.
  3. Wait
    Allow the solution to contact the surface for at least 1 minute.
  4. Rinse
    Rinse and air dry.
