  2. Add
Add 1 cup (250 ml) of Clorox® Bleach to 3 L of water in the bucket.
  3. Prep
Pre-wet the surface to be cleaned with water.
  4. Apply
Apply the bleach and water solution to the surface with a scrub brush.
  5. Repeat
Reapply as needed to keep the surface wet for 10 minutes.
  6. Rinse
    Rinse the treated area thoroughly.
  7. Air dry
    Let surfaces air dry.
  8. Re-water
Re-water any nearby plants that may be getting runoff from the bleach solution.

Flush any leftover bleach and water solution down the toilet. Make sure to rinse off your brushes and gloves with the garden hose and let everything air dry.

Avoid applying the bleach solution in direct sunlight or to unfinished wood. The solution should also not be used on aluminum gutters or windows.

Test the bleach solution on the area you want to treat. Before starting your project apply the solution to an inconspicuous area to make sure it doesn’t cause damage.
